Weekend

Sam has this crazy ball that talks and moves. Maddie is unsure about it so she decided to pounce on it on Saturday. She was acting crazy chasing the ball and jumping on it. It was pretty funny.

We had a nice, fun weekend. For Sam and I, it started Friday. Mimi had to work in Covington so Pops came to hang out with us. We went to a trunk show and ordered Sam two outfits for the fall and then we had lunch at Bistro Byronz. Saturday we hung out at home in the morning and then Granny Gerry and Paw-Paw came to visit for a little while. That afternoon we went to Chase's 3rd birthday party at the Mandeville Sports Complex. It's a neat place with a fitness center, kids section and gymastics area. Sam wanted to get down and run with the big kids but I didn't want her to get trampled and there were all kinds of things on the floor that she would want to pick up. Daddy let her try out her skills on the balance beam. Maybe she will be a gymnast one day.

Today we stayed home and played all day. I made lasagna and cupcakes and daddy went to the grocery for us to get a few supplies. When Brian got Sam out of bed after she woke from her nap this afternoon, she had her tongue hanging out. I think she found her front teeth and likes to feel them with her tongue. She kept sticking out her tongue the rest of the day.
