On Friday, Sam and I headed to Metairie for a playdate. It was a lot of fun. There were 4 kids there all around Sam's age. She had fun playing with some new toys and her friends. Thank you so much Michelle and Sammy for having us over!
Afterwards, we had lunch with Pops, went to Sam's and Sam got some new pajamas from the Children's Place.
On Saturday, we headed to Frances 1st birthday party at Gymrompers. I had my camera but I must have left it on the day before so the battery was dead. I was so upset! Sam had a lot of fun chasing all the balls around and eating cake. She kept wanting more cake and one time I was not fast enough and she found a piece on the floor! Oh well, I think she will eat her birthday cake and like it. I can't believe her 1st birthday is in a few weeks. Happy Birthday Frances!
After the party, we went to lunch with Mimi and Pops and then got some chocolate and sorbet at Sucre on Magazine Street. Then Sam and I headed home to see daddy and then Granny and Paw-Paw came over.
Yesterday, Mimi and Pops came over to deliver Sam's birthday present (a sandbox with picnic basket and umbrella that would not fit in my car) and we went to lunch at Friends.
We had a nice but busy weekend!
