First Steps

Our little monkey has been taking a few steps to get to different toys and things that she wants. I noticed it last Monday while we were at Ducky Joe's. This weekend she walked across her pack n play. She had her arm out and she knew the other side was close. Today she was standing up against the foot rest of her rocking chair in her bedroom and I was by her bed. I held out my arm near her and told her to come see me and she took about 6 steps to me! I put her back and she did it again. It was so cute! I just love her so much and am so amazed by what she learns and does. I went and grabbed the video camera and tried to get her to do it again but she had enough. I tried to get her to do it again tonight so Brian could see and she did try but she didn't take many steps before falling because she had her pj's on and her foot slipped out of the footie section.

I will try to get her on video soon.

I have some cute pictures to post from our weekend but our home computer is acting up and the Internet will not work so I borrowed Brian's laptop. Hopefully ours will work again soon and I will post the pictures later this week. What did we do before the Internet? I couldn't wait for Brian to get home from work so I could check email, blogs, Facebook, etc.!
