Somehow I fixed our Internet today. I'm not quite sure what I did but after unplugging all the Internet wires, trying to set up a new connection, unplugging and replugging again and then restarting, it worked!

I wanted to post some cute pictures from our weekend and this week. We have been staying busy. On Saturday, my mom and dad came over and watched Sam while Brian and I went to see The Time Traveler's Wife. (I enjoyed it, Brian not so much) Then we attended a fundraiser with some people from Brian's work. On Sunday, we had lunch at Brian's brother's house. Sam was entertained for a long time with cousin Evan's bucket of wiffle balls. On Tuesday, we went to a playdate. Sam had fun playing with new toys and her friends. She also tried cantaloupe for the 1st time and loved it! Afterwards, we headed to the mall and got a Halloween costume and some shoes. She looks like such a big girl in her shoes :-( We got the shoes from Stride Rite. They're cute but I don't know if they are my favorite. I think we're going to look at some other places too. She doesn't need them until she walks really well, but I wanted to go ahead and get some for her.

Sam is growing up way too fast. She still will not say "momma" but she says "quack, quack, quack" all the time. I think she got it from one of her favorite books, Barnyard Dance. She LOVES to read. When she is taking a bottle at night, I always read to her and I have to read the books over and over until she finishes. I put some in her room in a basket on the floor and she always takes them out and hands them to me to read. She knows where her head is and puts her hands on it when you ask her, she knows where the lights are and points to the light in whatever room we are in when I ask her, she can also turn the switches off now, she loves when I point out everyone in pictures on our walls, she loves turning on the master bath and letting the water run over her hand and playing in my makeup drawer. Oh and just when we are trying to phase out bottles and formula, she started holding her bottle and not being so lazy :-) She is also really into stuffed animals and she lays on top of them and hugs them. She LOVES, LOVES Maddie! I think she thinks she is a big stuffed animal. She tries to climb all over her and she pulls up onto her and puts her head on Maddie to hug her. I tried to get a good picture but I am scared to get too far away because Maddie sometimes gets frustrated and wants to leave and then Sam would fall over.

I think that's all I can think of for now. We have a big weekend and week coming up. Brian's 31st birthday is Monday so we are celebrating with his family Sunday and then Sam's birthday is Friday and her party is Saturday!

On a side note, does anyone else notice blurry pictures on blogger? Or is it just me?
