A band was passing, so it was time to take a break!
Brian's brother and a co-worker ride in a parade the Saturday before Mardi Gras weekend near our house. His co-worker ended up not being able to ride at the last minute, so he asked Brian to take his place. Brian had a great time and wants to ride again next year. We had a great time at the parade with friends and family. Sam likes parades this season. She sits down when the bands pass, but she runs to my dad and lets him hold her for all of the floats. They get tons of things. Of course, she got a lot of goodies from daddy and Uncle Johnny. Brian handed my dad a bag full of stuff for Sam. She was so excited that she played with everything all night when we got home. She even slept with all the stuffed animals and couldn't wait to show Brian in the morning all the stuff she got.
