Yesterday, we celebrated my birthday. It was such a great day! In the morning, Brian and the girls gave me presents and Sam kept singing "Happy Birthday to you, mommy!" I'm so lucky to have such a great family and beautiful girls! Brian and I then went to brunch at Muriel's with my parents, we did a little shopping in the French Quarter, and then my parents and I headed to see West Side Story. Afterwards, we picked up Parkway poboys for dinner. When I got home, Brian and Sam had a cookie cake waiting for me. Both girls missed me and I was so happy to be home and celebrate with them. Sam was very excited for cake and candles. She said she wanted to get me a stuffed snake just like hers (like she caught at one of the parades), but Brian picked out something else from her and Avery :) Check out the picture of the cake - pretty impressive for Brian's 1st time! Thanks to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday and celebrated with me!
