Monday night, my parents took Sam to see the parade in Metairie and then they brought her back and spent the night so we could go to the parades in Covington on Mardi Gras day. The term "parades" is generous for what we saw. There were 2 parades that lasted less than 30 minutes total. It took me more time to get everyone dressed and to the parades than they lasted. Oh well, at least Sam had fun with us and her cousins. I think we'll venture back to Metairie or New Orleans next year :)
