Avery is 7 months old!

I'm 7 months old! Give me that camera, mommy!
Ok, I will smile 1st.
Now, give me that camera!
No? Then I guess I will eat this lamb.
One last picture? I can do that!

Avery turned 7 months old on the 2nd! Time is flying by! She is such a sweet girl and we love her so much! She has been sleeping through the night for a while now. She loves to sleep on her belly. I used to rock her to sleep, but she is very nosy and likes to turn her head crazy and tries to flip to her belly even when you are holding her, so I decided to start putting her in her crib awake and letting her fall asleep on her own. She cried the 1st few times, but she does great now! I put her on her belly for naptime with her paci, turn on the air purifier for some noise, and she falls asleep. At night, I put her on her back and she flips to her tummy later. She usually takes a short nap in the morning around 10 and another longer one around 1:30. She has been eating dinner between 7:30 and 7:45 and goes to bed between 8 and 8:15. She sleeps until any time between 7 or 8 am!! She eats 4 times a day. In the morning, she gets a bottle and some cereal with fruit, for lunch she gets a bottle with some more baby food, she gets an afternoon bottle around 3:30 or 4 and then her bedtime one around 7:30 or 7:45. Samantha had reflux so rice cereal was always in her bottles and she did not actually eat cereal from a bowl. Avery didn't like it at 1st, but she will eat it if you mix fruit in. She has tried all of the single fruits and veggies, so we moved on to stage 2 mixed foods. She didn't care for potatoes and cheese or pasta with vegetables. She did eat turkey, apple, cranberry and turkey veggie. I wonder if it's the brand because the mixed ones she seems to like are Earth's Best. I have given her a few puffs, but she isn't sure about them yet. I know she will soon love them like every kid does.

Miss Avery loves to play in her exersaucer and jumper. She is a jumping bean. I'll have to get it on video. Sometimes she confuses the two and tries to jump in the exersaucer. She is such a good baby that she will eat breakfast and then I put her in her bouncy seat and she will sit and play for a while while I dress and feed Sam. She can sit up now, but not for too long. We are still going to therapy until she sits up really well so they can make sure nothing is wrong with her neck. It doesn't appear to be, but they want to check. She rolls around all over the place now. She also LOVES her big sister and mommy and will keep her eyes on us always. She laughs at Sam a lot. She loves bathtime and the past 2 nights she has taken a bath with Sam. There is a long stretch between her afternoon nap and bedtime so she gets a little cranky around 6 and wants to be held. She will play, but she wants you to be right next to her or holding her. But who can complain about holding such a sweet thing? I think that's all I can think of for now! Have a great week!
