Since Sam and I are still recovering, we ended up staying home for Mardi Gras. But we had a great family day! We started off with lunch at La Madeleine and then I walked Maddie for a bit while Brian pushed Sam in the cozy coupe and then we played with a few basketballs. Afterwards, it was naptime for Sam and Brian and I tested out our new Wii game - Super Mario Brothers. (just like the old game!) The game was fun but I don't think Brian will want to play with me anytime soon. He was much better! Later that night, we made tacos for dinner and after Sam went to bed, we watched American Idol and LOST! We had a nice, relaxing, family-filled Mardi Gras! Hopefully next year we'll get to see many more parades and Sam will actually like them!
