Firsts

Yesterday was a fun day and a day full of firsts. Aunt Lana was in Covington for work and we met her for lunch at Mi Mamacita's. It was the first time Sam sat in a big girl high chair. She was so good! She played with her toys and then dropped them all on the floor and she ate some crackers and Gerber puffs. After, we stopped at Walgreens to get some swim diapers and we went swimming at the pool in our neighborhood. I have never taken her swimming before. She looked so cute in her bathing suit and sun hat and she loved the water. At first, we sat on the step and I put her feet in and she kicked and seemed to like it, so I gradually got all the way in. She just let me hold her and she kept kicking her legs. I tried to take some pictures before we went to the pool but she is into the camera now and lunges for the strap whenever I take it out so I couldn't take any pics because I didn't want her to fall off of the sofa. I tried putting her on the floor but she just crawled to me to get the camera. And our last first for the day was avocado for dinner. Most new things she makes a face but eats it anyway but she didn't even do that for the avocado. She really liked it!

Can you believe my sweet baby is 9 months old today? I'll try to get her lamb picture tonight but it is getting harder and harder now that she is on the move and doesn't want to stay still. We may have to wait until daddy gets home from work to take the picture and she will just be in her pajamas.
