Not Much Change....

Well, we headed to the doctor again yesterday and there was not much change. Still no dilation. Dr. Waters said technically I am full term and the baby can come any day. She is taking her daughter to college this weekend so she said she can't come Thursday to Sunday. But if she does, her colleagues are on call. We go back next Monday and we will talk more and see where we are and discuss inducing or doing an internal exam to get things moving. We are getting so close! Brian took out some clothes to pack yesterday just in case so we're all getting ready. He wants her to come on his 30th birthday, which is this Sunday, August 24, but I reminded him that our doctor would not be able to deliver the baby if that happens so I am hoping she waits until next week!

It started raining when we were in the waiting room and when we came out of the office, the streets were flooded and we couldn't get to our car. We had to walk down several blocks past our car and still had to cross the flooded street. I think Brian ruined his work shoes and I took mine off and had to go through the gross water. Then he went and got the car and pulled up on the sidewalk to get me so I didn't have to go through the water again. It was nasty!

In other news, my maternity leave officially started yesterday. I went to the grocery and stocked up and today is floor cleaning day. Clean Pro is coming to clean all the carpets and kitchen and master bath tile. (thanks Michele for the referral and coupon!).
