Baby Sam Update

We went to the doctor for a checkup today and she said everything is still great. Heart rate good, blood pressure good, cervix thinned, head down, but still no dilation! She doesn't want us to go past our due date so she said we could either wait until our next visit and pick a day to induce if we still haven't had the baby or we could pick a date this week. She said the baby is ready and she does not foresee any problems. Since her office is closed until next Wednesday, we opted to induce this week. We suggested Friday but her son has his first high school football game so she asked if Thursday was okay :-) So we go in Wednesday night at 9 p.m. and I will get cervadil and a sleeping pill and they will start the induction if nothing happens between 4 and 5 a.m. Dr. Waters will then check on us around 5 or 6 a.m. and we should have a baby by that afternoon or evening! We are very excited but nervous at the same time. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers and wish us a safe and healthy labor and delivery for mom, baby and dad! (because he's a little nervous too!)
