Failed gingerbread house (notice the roof sliding. It kept falling down. We did try again over the holidays and did much better :))
On Thursday, December 15th, we ate lunch at Bravo with my friend, Jaala and her sons, Roman and Weston. We then went to her house to exchange presents and have dessert. I made Christmas tree brownies, courtesy of Pinterest, and she made some m&m pretzel treats. Samantha and Roman always have fun when they get together and play! I didn't bring my camera, so unfortunately I didn't get any pictures. The funniest thing I remember from that day is when we got home, Samantha rode in her cozy coupe and imitated me. We were trying to park for lunch, which is in the mall and you can imagine very crowded, when this lady pulled around me to pull into my parking spot. I honked and said in the car (she of course couldn't hear me) "don't even think about taking my spot!" We had been searching for a place to park for a while! Anyway, Sam was driving her car and she repeated what I said :)
The next day, we headed to Sam's friend, Margaux's house, for a gingerbread play date. We had a great time, even though our first attempt at a gingerbread house was a failure! Several of Samantha's classmates and dancing buddies were there and she had a great time.
