We had tons of fun last week with Mimi and Pops since Pops was off for Easter break. He came over and played on Tuesday, Wednesday we went to the Strawberry Patch, Thursday he went to art class with us and played and Friday we went to him and rode the streetcar, shopped in Canal Place and finished the day of with beignets (Sam's request). Sam loved riding the streetcar and mommy and Mimi enjoyed shopping at Canal Place. We went in Anthroplogie and everyone went upstairs except Avery and I. She started coughing and ended up spitting up all over. One of the girls that worked there was so sweet and helped me out. She took Avery from me and helped me clean up and she got spit up on her too. I couldn't believe she was so sweet. Of course, I had to buy something from her and I ended up getting a cute candle to go in our bathroom. After that episode, we headed back on the streetcar, back to our car and to Cafe Du Monde to finish the day off with beignets. It was Avery's 1st time trying one. (minus the 6 mos pictures we took, but I didn't actually let her eat one) She didn't like it at 1st, but then she got used to it. What a fun week!
