On April 27th, we went to a nearby Strawberry Patch with Mimi, Pops and the Davis family. We had so much fun! It rained off and on while we were there, but it was still nice and not too hot. We got there at lunchtime, so we enjoyed a picnic lunch and then started picking berries. I held Avery, so I didn't get to pick many, but Sam, Mimi and Pops had fun! After we picked berries, the kids had fun swinging, riding the little zip line, jumping on the big inflatable red ball and looking at the animals in the petting zoo. The strawberries were delicious and as you can tell from the pictures, Avery and Sam really enjoyed them! Avery enjoyed them so much that she screamed for about 10 minutes when I took a berry away from her and changed her clothes! We ate most of them, I froze some and I also made some lowfat banana strawberry muffins with them. We can't wait to go again next year!
