Samantha Says

I was making lunch yesterday and Sam grabbed the coffee creamer and said "I need milk." I told her to put it away and that it was coffee creamer. She either opened it or it was not closed properly and it spilled all over her. It was on her face, her hair, her pajamas, me, the floor, etc. In the funniest voice, she said "oopsie. I spilled milk. I spilled coppee (coffee)." I told Brian about it and she heard me and once I said it was on her face, she said "and on jammies and floor." The kitchen still smells like caramel flavored coffee creamer even though I cleaned it.

We have been potty training and I give her a Disney princess figurine on the days she does well. Yesterday she lined them all up and picked up Belle and said "you look coot (cute)."

Sam: "Boobies, daddy."

Brian: "That's right. Keep those to yourself. Don't show your boobies to anyone."

Brian is in trouble when she is a teenager :)

Me: Your pajamas say girls rock.

Sam: the next morning while looking at her pajama top, "Girls wok, mommy."

Sam says a I love you a lot now and is so sweet. If you play with her and she laughs, she gives you a tight squeeze around the neck and says "I lub you much!"

A few days ago, Sam told my dad "I lub you much, Pops. You my best fend (friend)."

She has also learned the word favorite so if you give her a snack or drink or if she watches a TV show or plays with a toy, she says "Dat's my fabe-rit (favorite)!"

She is obsessed with Cinderella and she watches it over and over in the car. She takes wipes and towels and scrubs my floors and likes to take the laundry out of the hampers like "Cinderelly." She also loves the sing sweet nightingale song and bippidy bobbidy boo and sings both of them. When Cinderella dances with the prince, she thinks she is dancing with her daddy. The other day she said, "Cinderelly dance with her daddy. I got my daddy." I said yes, do you love daddy?and she said "I lub Pops."

Her absolute favorite breakfast food is pancakes and she would eat them every morning if she could. Every morning I ask what she wants to eat and without fail her response is "cancakes!" (pancakes)

She knows her name is Sam now. When you used to ask her what her name was, she would say "me." Then she started saying "Sam Cook," Now she doesn't say the Cook part. But Avery's name is "Sissy Cook." She also knows daddy's name is "Brian."

My parents spent the night on Friday because they babysat while Brian and I attended a Christmas party. As soon as she woke up, she had to wake up Pops. She was laying in bed with Pops and Mimi when I went in with Avery and she said "morning, sissy. Sissy coot (cute) now." I guess because she is more interactive and talks and smiles at Sam now, so she thinks she's cute :)
