We picked out our Christmas tree the Sunday after Thanksgiving, which is earlier than usual for us. Pops came over and let us use his truck. It was nice to get it early because Brian took off of work the following Monday and Tuesday as well so I had time to decorate the tree and house while he played with the girls and he got to decorate the outside of the house earlier. I'll post a picture of the tree decorated another day. It looks great. It looks like the trunk is a little crooked, so I really hope it doesn't fall like it did a few years ago, but it seems secure. Sam loved helping me decorate the tree and put up "deca-rations," but she did not want me to put the princess ornaments on the tree. She wanted to hold them. I put them up when she went to bed and she was pretty upset the next morning. She said "no mommy, take those deca-rations down!"
