Could It Really Be This Easy?

My friend sent me an ebook about potty training in 3 days. I decided to try it out last week since we had no plans Wednesday through Friday. The 1st 2 days were hard but she really did catch on by day 3. She even made #2 on Friday. Saturday she had no accidents (we even went to my brother-in-law's to watch the LSU game and brought the potty with us), Sunday a small one, and none yesterday. She even kept her pull up dry during her 2 hour nap yesterday and she woke up twice last night to tell me she had to potty. I started out giving her a candy every time she would go, but she doesn't even ask for that anymore. I bought a pack of Disney princess figurines and have been giving her one a day since she has been doing so well. She really likes them and has even been sleeping with them. I also bought a pair of Minnie dress up shoes that light up to give her when we are completely done. She really doesn't have to potty too many times a day so I was worried she was holding it in but I guess not since she didn't even go in the pull ups yesterday. Now I am just worried about taking her places. I'm not sure she would like a public potty. I sent my mom to Babies R Us yesterday to get a travel potty. We have somewhere to go tomorrow so we'll see how it works out! Any advice on how to handle traveling? She doesn't like when I tell her to potty. She has to tell me so usually she doesn't potty before we leave home.

All in all, this potty training this has been pretty easy! She is such a big girl and catches on so quickly. She is growing up way too fast! I am so proud of my big girl!

My stomach hurts just reading this...potty training has been a nightmare for us. Chase still won't do #2 on the potty, he is terrified!

But Ethan has been showing some interest already. If you get a chance, tell me the name of that book and I may try it with ej in a couple of months.

i need the name of that book. bre tells me everytime she needs to potty but will not go on the potty. with egan he was very easy. we just had our little travel potty in the back of the car and if we were somewhere where we could get to the car we would go there before going in the public restrooms. a potty seat for the public restrooms makes the thought of them sitting on the potty a little easier to deal with. good luck! hopefully i can be writing about bre being potty trained soon :)
