Train Ride!

On Sunday, the girls and I headed to Mimi and Pops house to visit. I was worried about making the trip with both girls, but Avery was such a good girl and slept in her car seat the whole way there and back! After we had lunch, we headed to City Park so Sam could ride the train for the 1st time. We went in the park through Storyland and played a bit. Then we went by the rides and my dad tried to take Sam on the car ride but she was too little so we headed to the train. I didn't want to leave our new double stroller to ride the train so I was going to wait with Avery, but a friend of ours was bike riding through the park, saw us and said he would watch the stroller so Avery and I got to go. He even took a family picture for us! I think Sam enjoyed the ride. After, Avery and I headed back to the car for some air conditioning while Sam had her 1st Icee and rode the carousel. We had a fun day even though we were crazy to go out there in the record breaking heat!
