New kitchen!
Mimi and Pops came over Friday night to spend the night and help us get ready for Sam's party. They brought her the kitchen and tons of food and things for it. She loves it! My dad's school was throwing away old kitchens so he took one and refinished it to make it look like a Pottery Barn Kids kitchen. He did a great job! The oven even has a light and burners that make noise.
Saturday (her actual birthday), Sam woke up and had a new table and chairs from mommy, daddy, sissy and Maddie. She has eaten every meal at her table since she got it. After lunch and a nap, we headed to Gymboree for her party. As soon as we go there, I started taking off her shoes to put on socks and she was jumping out of my arms saying "I ready!" She had such a great time. She was excited about her birthday this year. She could sing happy birthday and she knew to blow out the candles on the cake after (although she didn't do it). She also would get excited when I would tell her who was coming to her party and she would list people and say her "fends" (friends) were coming. After the party, we headed home for dinner and to open presents. She got so many great things! We had a great day!
