Blueberries!

I have been wanting to pick blueberries since last summer and yesterday we finally went to a place near our house. It was hot but fun! Aunt Nikki and cousins Evan and Emily (Emma as Sam says) came with us. We got to pick from the close bushes that were near the covered pavilion, which the owner dubbed the "maternity" section so he could keep an eye us on. Sam liked the rocks under the pavilion and started picking those first. Then she picked some blueberries. I told her she could taste some so she would lick them, take a bite, say "yum, yum" and put them back in her bucket. After a while, she had enough and went back under the pavilion to pick rocks. I had my camera but didn't take it out of the car. Aunt Nikki took some pictures so I'll post them once she sends them to me. Afterwards, we picked up breakfast from Chik-Fil-A and played at Aunt Nikki's house.

Fresh blueberries are so much better than the ones in the store! I can't wait to try new things with them. I froze a bunch and made blueberry ebelskivers for dinner. Delicious!
