Before - 2 separate patios with overgrown shrubs and things in between. This picture was taken when we bought the house. I have taken other pictures but I didn't have a complete view like this one. The side under the overhang is concrete painted to look like brick and the side with the swing is pavers. It was always a mess with weeds growing in.

After much drama and anticipation, our new patio is finally done! We started the work on it only to be told by the homeowners association that we needed their permission. So we stopped and filled out the necessary paperwork. For some reason it took them about 3 weeks to get back to us. We wanted the patio done in time for Easter so we could have our families over for a crawfish boil. We had to have crawfish in the garage but at least the patio is now done! They finished up on Monday. It looks great. Brian was worried at first because he wanted a darkish gray but once they put the stain on, it became darker and glossy. He has always hated the 2 patios and wanted to do this for so long. I can't wait to pick out furniture for it and spend time with my girls out there.
