Chatty Cathy

Sam has been talking so much lately. She basically tries to repeat anything you say and she sounds so cute! She has a little accent and kind of stretches out the end of words. Some of her favorites are:

shoo shoo (choo-choo)
pane (plane)
purkle (purple)
pease (please)
hold
yum yum (when she wants food)
mae mae (Maddie)
potty
ants
caw (car)
Ming Ming, Tuck, Yinny (The Wonder Pets, Ming-Ming, Tuck & Linny. She has stuffed ones and carries them everywhere)
side (outside & slide)
mote (remote)
Emma (cousin Emily)
Aidan (cousin Aidan)
Mimi
Pops
Kiss (Uncle Chris)
Mal (Aunt Mal)
Paw-Paw
Ganny (Granny)
Sissy (she kisses my belly and says bebe or sissy)
Bebe (baby)
tur-tulll (turtle)
lellow (yellow)
boo (blue)
red
shabow (yesterday she saw her shadow on the carport so I explained what it was)
Min-me (Minnie Mouse)
Mick (Mickey Mouse)

And the list goes on. I always think of more as soon as I post.

She can also say Chuck e Cheese, which is so strange because she has only ever been one time with my mom. She won a ball and she was looking at it the other day and she said "chuck e chee." She says it really fast and like it's all one word. She has also been putting words together. The other day I was cooking and she asked me to "hold." I told her to say please and she said "pease, hold." So sweet! I don't know where she comes up with everything. For the past few weeks, we have been taking Maddie to potty in the front yard since the backyard was a mess with the new construction. The other night, she was eating dinner and Brian took Maddie out and she said "dadda, Mae Mae, potty." Then Brian went on the patio to get something and she asked for him. I asked her where he went and she said "potty." So of course I explained that only Maddie goes to the potty outside! She also knows when we pull into the neighborhood. If Brian is with us, she starts saying "Mae Mae" and "ball." She likes to play ball with Maddie when we get home. If Brian isn't with us, she says "dadda, Mae Mae, ball." And one last funny story, on the days I work, I meet my mom at the mall and we switch cars and she takes Sam for the day. Now she knows when we turn into the parking lot, she starts to say "Mimi." The other day, Mimi wasn't there yet but another car was and she thought that was Mimi. Then some chinese lady rode her bike through the parking lot and she thought it was Mimi :-)
