Maddie loves presents too! She is too funny! She knows when something is in her stocking and she gets so excited! She opens a toy, runs into the bedroom to play with it for a bit, hide it and then she comes running back for more. She sits under her stocking crying until we give her a new toy. Santa brought her a new leash and collar - lavender daisies. I think it's her color!

We had such a great Christmas! We are so blessed and lucky. I can't believe next year we'll have another addition to the family! Although Sam still doesn't quite understand the concept of Santa, she loves toys and opening presents. I took her by the tree when she woke up and she went straight to her new toys. She loves anything that she can hold and walk around with and she loves play food. Santa brought her an outdoor playhouse, some play food, some books, puzzles, the Wonder Pets fly boat and a few stuffed animals. She played all morning with her food and Wonder Pets. Then my family came over for lunch and she got even more things, including a wagon. She LOVED the wagon. She pretty much sat in it all day and begged people to pull her around. She also hoarded all of her toys in it. She also went in and out of her playhouse, which is set up in the kitchen now because it has been so wet and rainy lately.

After we opened presents and had lunch, most of us took a little nap and then we played Family Feud on Wii. It was fun! Santa (Mimi and Pops) gave the game to me.

Thanks to Mimi and Pops and everyone who loves Sam, Brian and I so much and gave us such wonderful things.

The next day, we celebrated with Brian's family and had Christmas round 2. I still have to upload those pictures so I'll post about that soon.
