Checking out the ornaments. She has not been too interested in the tree. She goes around one side of it to look out of the window and doesn't usually touch it. (Okay well maybe I spoke too soon because as soon as I published this post, I went to see what she was doing and she had unraveled some of the lights!)

1st candy cane at the tree lot
Sam liked this oneA few weekends ago we picked out our Christmas tree. It was Sam's 1st trip to the lot and it was freezing! But she had fun running around and she got her 1st candy cane.
Thanks so much to my mom for basically decorating the tree on her own (Brian and I helped a tiny bit). The night before was Brian's office Christmas party and staying up until midnight was really late for a pregnant lady :-) I didn't want to do anything the next day. I was so tired!
