Blue (Red) New Orleans
Uptown MemoriesLast Wednesday night I went to a moms night out with some friends at the CNC in Metairie. We had a great time! We met before hand and everyone brought an appetizer or dessert. Then we painted Uptown Memories. I hung it in the guest room, along with my first painting, French Quarter Cottage.
My mom has never been so we decided to try out the Wednesday morning class in Mandeville this past Wednesday. My dad stayed home with Sam and then met us after for lunch. The painting was Blue New Orleans but we made our houses red. I really like the way mine turned out. I hung it in our bedroom since we have red accents and haven't really decorated the walls yet.
CNC is a lot of fun but stressful too. You want your picture to turn out good and you are time limited and the instructor usually goes too fast! I think I get a little better each time, although I will be the first to admit I am not the next Michalopoulos.
