We had a fun and relaxing weekend this past weekend. On Saturday we visited the McCarthy family and brought them dinner and met their new addition, Baby Ethan. He is so cute and tiny. It was only 7 months ago, but it is hard to imagine Sam being that small. I took a picture of big brother Chase climbing the ladder to slide but didn't get any of Ethan since I didn't want to disturb him while he was sleeping. Check out their blog on the right to see some pictures. I got some of Sam smiling at Shane and Michele whenever they would talk. She thinks if anyone talks to daddy then it's funny. She was really good. She just got a little fussy when it was close to 6 p.m. like she normally does. 6 is the time we start our bedtime routine of bath, dinner, reading and then bed. I mentioned that I have started putting her in her bed for naps and leaving the room and it has been well over a week and she has fallen asleep every time! Sometimes it takes a little longer but most days she gets into position (butt in the air on her belly) and she falls asleep within 5 minutes. I always rock her to sleep at night but since she likes her belly so much now she can't get comfy in my arms, so I rock her a little just to hold her and then I put her in bed and she falls asleep on her own. She's such a big girl!

On Sunday, we went to Best Buy to get daddy an I Touch for our 5 yr anniversary (April 30), Target for some supplies and Wow for lunch and then hung out at home the rest of the day. Daddy got his ipod a little early but I already got my earrings for my birthday/anniversary and we had coupons that expired on the 15th.
