Da-Da

Friday night as I was giving Sam a bath she started saying "da-da." Brian was on his way home from Trinidad at the time so he didn't hear it. She kept saying it on Saturday, but not when he was around. He didn't believe that she said it. Sunday morning she woke up saying it and he heard her finally! He was so excited! I'll try to get it on video soon.

In other news, our sweet baby girl has cut her first tooth. We went to the doctor yesterday to make sure her ears are clear since she has been pulling on them and not eating as much. I was pretty sure it was a tooth but the doctor wanted to make sure. Sure enough, her 1st tooth has broken though and he said the one next it to will come right after. You can see a tiny piece of white if you look closely and you can definately feel it. She has been great about it. She sucks on her teething toys and that's pretty much it. She has still been sleeping great.

She is also ready to be on the move. She rolls around and scoots and slides to get her toys. She scoots off of her floor mat to feel the carpet and hard wood. She flips onto her stomach while she is getting her bottle to look out the window and she climbs up your arms when you hold her. She is now getting on all fours and rocking and when she does it in her bed she tries to move and ends up throwing her arms out and falling on her face. I think she will be crawling soon because she is trying more and more every day. And yesterday, she grabbed onto her activity table and tried to stand up. She almost did it on her own. I helped her up and she stood up for a few minutes playing with the table. She is getting so big! She is so much fun and we love her so much!!

The sweetest words in the world!

And both of my girls slept through the night while cutting teeth. Exept two year molars for Charlotte. Those were HORRIBLE! But you have a ways to go for those. :)
