Update

I just thought I would post an update on Sam. She seems to be doing well on the new formula. It has only been a week and 2 days but so far so good. I hope it continues that way and we finally found a formula that works best for her. She has been less fussy, less gassy, eating more, happier and sleeping better. She slept really well a few nights last week and then she got congested and started coughing a lot and waking up more. The doctor wanted to see us Monday to see how she did in the week she was on the new formula and he said it looks like we are headed in the right direction but she does have a cold now. (By the way, we love the new doctor and are going to switch to him for good. He is more personable and interactive and Sam seems to love him too! He holds her to examine her and talks to her and when he was talking to me, she was laying on the table and just smiling and talking to him. She was cute!) The only things we can do for her cold are elevate her mattress, use saline drops and syringe her nose (which she hates!) and use a cool mist humidifier at night. Please pray that her cold goes away quickly and we finally found a solution to help her. She's too sweet and cute to be in pain!

Last night she slept from 8-2:30, she ate and went back to bed until 6:00, ate again and then slept until almost 9! I am trying to get her on a feeding and sleeping schedule because I go back to work 2 days a week starting December 2nd. We have the bedtime routine down but her morning feedings vary since she has been sick.
