4D Ultrasound and Baby's Room

Yesterday we went to prenatal pics for our 4D ultrasound. Our doctor said to go between 24-28 weeks because after that, the baby gets so big it does not have much room to move around. So after a nice lunch at Lola, me, Brian, my mom, dad and Brian's mom headed to the ultrasound. I have to thank everyone who recommended this place to me. We did not have a very good ultrasound experience at the hospital because the people were not very nice, but this was awesome. The tech was really nice and explained everything she was looking at. Baby Cook is definately still a girl. The tech tried to get a good 4D pic of Sam, however, she just wanted to sleep. She kept trying to wake up her up but nothing worked. Then she took a break and got me some orange juice to see if anything would happen and nothing. All Baby Sam wanted to do was take a nap. We did see her yawn several times and we also saw her sucking her fingers. It was really cute. I hope she is this calm when she is older :-) Anyway, the tech said she would not feel right giving us any pictures because she couldn't get a good one so she scheduled us to go back in 3 weeks for free. She was so sweet. She even gave us some regular pictures and a DVD of yesterday and is going to give us another one when we go back. She said Sam is petite and she needs to gain some weight and then the 4D pics will come out better.

The other pics are of the nursery. Yesterday we hung the twinkle twinkle pictures and Sam's name on the wall. I have to say I am impressed with myself for buying the letters unfinished and painting them and picking out the ribbon for them to hang from. The credit for attaching the ribbon and doing the bows goes to my dad, mom and Brian's mom. The nursery is coming along and looks so precious. I also had to take a picture of Maddie. Notice the bunny on the chest of drawers. I think we are going to have a problem with our doggie baby because she thinks Sam's toys are hers. Everytime we go in the room she sits by the chest and cries because she wants the bunny. I have more animals to put out but can't do it when she's around :-)
