Mother's Day, Furniture, and 23 weeks

Happy Mother's Day to everyone! We had a nice weekend. The baby's furniture came in so we picked it up on Saturday, had lunch with my parents, and then celebrated Mother's Day with Brian's family with dinner at Andrew Yaegers. On Sunday I cooked for my mom and my family came over. We had roast, mashed potatoes, peas, artichoke squares, and salad. Later the boys went to Home Depot and the girls went to Pier 1 and then we got a snowball. I got a Happy Mother's Day card for the mommy-to be from Brian and a baby carriage charm for a bracelet that I have. My mom and Brian's mom even got me something, which was really sweet.

My dad helped Brian unload the baby furniture yesterday and we put it in the room. It really looks great. It is definately good quality and is solid wood. The chest and changing table were already put together. We didn't assemble the bed because we are getting the floors done soon so we might as well wait until that is done. I will be sure to take some pics. Now I'm excited to finish decorating the room!

I am 23 weeks pregnant now and here's what happening according to http://www.babycenter.com/
Your baby is more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound (
about as much as a large mango). His skin is red and wrinkled. Blood vessels in his lungs are developing to prepare him for breathing. He can swallow, but he normally won't pass his first stool (called meconium) until after birth. Loud noises heard often in utero — such as your dog barking or the roar of a vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze your baby when he hears them outside the womb.
