Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas to everyone!

We had a really nice Christmas except Brian and I were both a little sick. Brian started with a sore throat in New York and then I got it after we got home on Saturday. But we had a lot to do so we took some medicine and rested and managed to fit everything in. On Saturday night we went to a family Christmas party, Sunday we had Christmas with Brian's family, Christmas Eve we had dinner with my family and opened presents, and Christmas day we went to Brian's grandmother's and then my parents came over for dinner. I loved having Christmas at our house! I made white chocolate bread pudding, sweet potato casserole and macaroni and cheese and my mom brought ham, oyster dressing, shrimp mirliton and another desssert. It turned out great! My mom also bought a Wii for the family so we had tons of fun playing that all night. We bowled, boxed and played baseball! It's so much fun. Brian decided he wanted one too and we actually found it the day after Christmas.

Maddie got lots of presents for her grandparents and doggie cousins and has already destroyed most of them but she had fun! She gets so excited to rip open paper and find a toy inside! It's so funny - she really is like a child.
