Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone had a great one. Ours was very nice. We especially enjoyed the long weekend. Now we are looking forward to our trip to New York in a few weeks.

We had lunch at my parents house and hung out and browsed the newspaper ads. I had a bag of stuff to bring to my moms and the one thing I forgot was the main dish I made - sweet potato casserole. It's not like I live close anymore so I could not run home and get it. I was so upset. I saw the recipe on FoodTv and decided to try it and it wasn't easy! Oh well, Brian and I took home leftovers and had Thanksgiving dinner over again on Friday night at our new table with the delicious sweet potato casserole :-) Next time I will be sure to make a list of what I need to bring!
