Granny Jean got Maddie a new toy from Wal-mart (my mom who said we shouldn't get a dog in the 1st place, but who happily buys her toys and lets her out at lunchtime for us when she works in Covington). When I showed the toy to Maddie she got very excited and couldn't wait to get it. Check out the pictures of her being so good waiting for her toy. My mom swore that the toy was tough and it would be hard for Maddie to eat up but she had chunks torn out of it within an hour and I had to take it away. Oh well, it was only $1. She has such sharp teeth. I saw some toys listed in a Rachael Ray magazine that are tested on tigers so I tried out some of those (much more expensive) and Maddie chewed through one of those too even though I have to admit they are made much better than the regular toys.
