Better than Ezra

Brian and I went to the Howlin' Wolf in the Warehouse District on Saturday night to hear Lucy's Walk play. The lead singer works with Brian. Supposedly they were breaking up and not singing anymore so a few years ago we went to their last show. Saturday's last show, according to them, was there "5th last show ever." Anyway, the email invite said there were 2 surprise bands after them and it gave some hints. The big one turned out to be Better than Ezra. They were really good. I used to listen to them in high school but haven't really kept up with their new songs. We had a really good time and we got free Miller Light merchandise and beer. Because we got there before Better than Ezra came on, we were right in the front. I didn't have my camera with me but I would have gotten some great pictures. I never thought to use my cell phone!
