Maddie had to get another round of shots. This time we gave her Benadryl before and she still got a reaction - 3 times! Poor thing gets swollen and itchy and she runs arounds the house howling. All you can do is give her Benadryl to make the swelling go down. She acts a little crazy on the medicine and had to take about 6 Benadryl in a day! We also had to give it to her for 2 more days after. The good news is we think we found out what shot it is that she is allergic to. She got her last shot on Saturday, which was for rabies, and she did not get a reaction to that. That was her last one for a whole year!
