Birthdays!

Maddie turned 4 months old on March 19 and I turned 28 on March 20. We had nice birthday celebrations. On Saturday the 18th, Brian and I went to brunch with my parents at the Court of 2 Sisters and then walked around the French Quarter. On Sunday we celebrated with Brian's family at his parents house. We took Maddie with us. I was concerned that she would try and jump in the pool but we let her off her leash and she had so much fun running around the yard. We don't have a fenced yard (we're working on it and a new house :)) so she has never really been free before. She went by the pool but only stuck her tongue in it out of curiousity. She had lots of fun chasing her balls and playing with her cousins. She wore herself out and then collapsed under a palm tree and slept all night. We'll definately take her back next time.

On my actual birthday, we had cake and pizza at my parents and played a new version of Monopoly. Instead of railroads you now buy airports and you can buy baseball stadiums, Times Sqaure, Disney World etc. The tokens are a Starbucks coffee cup, razor phone, hybrid car, labrador retriever, laptop, and a New Balance shoe, among others.
