Bad Puppy

This past Saturday we went to the Northshore to look at houses and to our nephew's birthday party. We left Maddie home for a long time but she did fine. When we got home, we decided to go for a walk since she had been cooped up all day and Brian came along. We walked past Mark Twain, Oscar's and the strip of restaurants on Metairie Road near our house and Maddie picked up something she was not supposed to have. Brian tried to get it out of her mouth and she got mean and bit him. He had to pin her down and punish her to get whatever it was out of her mouth. She has done this a couple of times when she gets some food item that she knows she is not supposed to have. Since her daddy hit her and punished her, she has been very good. She really is good most of the time but we have a few issues and this is one of them. Now whenever you tell her to "drop it" she drops whatever is in her mouth and looks at you and wants a treat. I think Brian scared her and she needed it because she thinks she 's the boss.
