My sweet baby. I love her precious outfit too. Unfortunately, minutes after this picture we got in the car and she threw up all over it and her car seat. I think she may have just eaten too much. I did not think I would ever get the car seat back together. I had to disassemble it so much to clean it!
Avery turned 13 months on the 2nd. She is so cute and sweet. She isn't walking yet (Sam started walking one week after her 1st birthday). She pushes her walking toys and cruises all around, but isn't ready to do it on her own yet. She is the fastest crawler I have ever seen and slaps her hands on the ground, so you can hear her coming. I guess she is content to move that way because she goes so much faster :) She is a great eater and wants anything you have whenever you have it! I don't understand how she fell of the growth chart because this child constantly eats. Her favorite fruits are strawberries and pears. She also loves turkey, cheese, ravioli, and meat sticks. I remember being more scared when Sam started eating solids and not knowing what to give her, but Avery eats whatever we have. She loves playing with her toys and her big sister, although Sam is really rough with her sometimes. Avery fights back though! She loves Mickey Mouse and Calliou. When Mickey comes on tv, she stops what she is doing and smiles (even if she is drinking milk and it just dribbles out of her mouth :)) I got her a small Minnie and Mickey at the Disney store. She carries Mickey everywhere, but leaves Minnie behind. Sam has a small Mickey too, so she grabs him as well and carries 2 small Mickey's around the house. She likes to pick up her play phone and put it on her shoulder like is is talking to someone. She even says "Hi" in the sweetest voice. It's amazing what she does and learns every day. I will brush her hair after her bath and then she takes the brush from me and brushes her own hair. She has a little cold right now and I syringed her nose the other day and put saline drops in and she took the saline dropper from me and sniffed and put it by her nose. Such a little mimic! She is also a climber - what a monkey! Sam was not like that. Good thing Sam is around to warn me of what she is doing. I stepped out of the room for less than a minute to take dinner out of the oven one night and Sam yelled, "mom, come see what Avery is doing." She was standing on top of the little Fisher Price slide in Sam's room. Crazy! She also stands on the little table and chairs in the dining room and climbs onto whatever she can. She says momma, dadda, waves bye bye, claps, etc. She is so much fun!
