Neighborhood Egg Hunt

Poor thing - you can tell she doesn't feel well :(

On April 16, we went to the Easter egg hunt in our neighborhood. It was the fastest egg hunt ever! Sam's age group got to hunt in the grass in front of the pool area. She got about 4 eggs and the hunt lasted about 30 seconds. There were cookies and juice for the kids, along with goodie bags, which included some candy and a huge butterfly sucker. Poor Samantha did not have much fun because she wasn't feeling well. I took her to the hunt because she said she wanted to go, so I thought she was fine. I asked her after if she wanted to go to the grocery with me and she said she wanted to go home and stay with daddy. I should have known then how bad she felt since she never turns down a trip with mommy :) I ran to the grocery and came back home and Brian said she had been laying down all morning and she had fever. Poor baby! That was the start of our week full of sickness!
