I Made Her Dress!

I have always wanted to learn to sew but I thought it was a stretch because I don't even know how to fix a button. One of my friends was offering classes so I decided to get a sewing machine and try it out. The 1st class was on pillowcase dresses and I actually made the dress Sam is wearing on Saturday! Can you believe it? It's not so bad for my 1st time. I am going to get something monogrammed on the bottom so she can wear it for Easter. I tried one completely on my own Sunday and today I practiced my stitching so I can get better. I also picked out some more cute fabric to make Sam some more dresses for the summer. I don't think pillowcase dresses come in smaller than a 12 mo. otherwise I would make the new baby matching ones :-)

If you look closely at my little model you can see the scratch on her face from Maddie. She was holding a basketball and Maddie wanted it so she jumped up. I thought she only caught her arm but she scratched her sweet face.
