Last week we went to a Father's Day arts and crafts playdate. Sam and I made this book for Brian. Okay, she mostly sat there and chewed on a plastic cup while mommy made the book, but it was fun anyway and it was Brian's favorite present.
The page that Sam did make. This was our attempt at a hand print.
This is Maddie's page. We had to include her too! She's daddy's girl too.
Swimming with daddy. Last time we tried she did not like the raft. Yesterday she didn't seem to mind it. It is a little big for her, so a lot of times she kind of just laid back. She chewed on her bath toys the whole time.
In her cover up ready to swim
Feeding herself. She may be left-handed. I never noticed before but after she ate Saturday I let her play with the spoon and she picked it up and held it every time with her left hand.
Drinking some cold water. She will drink out of her sippy cup but she usually just bites the spout. If anyone is around with a real cup she wants whatever you have. She drinks out of big girl cups pretty well.
Waiting for Mimi and Pops to come over. She loves books!
I was packing for our trip and came across this hat and thought it would look funny on her. She looks like she's saying get this thing off of me but she crawled away with it on after I took the picture and played with her toys with it on.Saturday we celebrated Father's Day with my family and had BBQ at our house. Sam sat at the table with us and ate avocado and potatoes. She was a mess after! Sunday, after Sam and I made banana pancakes for daddy, we headed to Granny and Paw-Paw's to swim.
Happy Father's Day, Brian. We love you so much. You're the best daddy and husband and we hope you had a great day. Happy Father's Day to Pops, Paw-Paw, Uncle Chris, Uncle Johnny, and Uncle David and all the other daddies out there as well.
