6 month stats

Our new treadmill
Napping in the swing

Napping in the bouncy seat

Sam had her 6 month well-check on Monday. She is doing great. She is average weight and head circumference but in the 95% for length. She got 3 shots and 3 tweety bird band aids. When we got home she took a two hour nap! She was worn out. My mom watched her Tuesday and said she was not herself and constantly wanted to be held. She seems back to her normal happy self now.

She has tried all stage 1 fruits and veggies so we can move on to stage 2 and get on a breakfast, lunch and dinner schedule. Normally she drinks a bottle at 7, has fruit and a bottle at 11, has veggies and a bottle at 3 and has her last bottle before bed at 6:30 so we are on a pretty good schedule. She will just get some food at dinner now too.

Here are her stats:

Weight: 16 lb., 8 oz. (50%)

Length: 27.5 in (95%)

Head: 42.5 cm (50%)

She likes sleeping on her side and has been rolling to her stomach lately. She normally doesn't like to play too long on her tummy during the day so I was surprised she started sleeping on her belly a little. Sometimes she wakes up in the middle of the night crying because she wants to turn over to her back and her arm is stuck. But for the most part she sleeps from 7:30 or 8:00 pm to 7:00am! Knock on wood it stays the same since I am telling everyone!! You can tell she loves her side by the pictures I took. I don't know how she fell asleep in her bouncy seat. She usually plays in there after breakfast and I do some laundry, make coffee, etc. and the other day it was quiet and I found her asleep. Too cute!

We also had her 6 month portraits taken on Wednesday. They came out so great and it was hard to pick but I think I decided. I must have looked at them at least 20 times. You can check them out if you like by following the link below. The password is samantha. Let me know which ones are your faves.

In other news, we decided to get a treadmill thinking it would ultimately save us money and it would be easier for us to use whenever we want to. I am loving it so far. It is in the office, along with several of Sam's toys and activity mat, so a lot of times I use it for a little while while she plays and other days I wait until she goes to bed. I posted a picture above.
Have a great weekend and congrats to our friends Lisa and Frank Auberle who had baby Noah this week. They also have 2 year old twins, Benjamin and Sofia.
