Maddie got sick a few times this morning and it seemed like something was stuck in her throat so I took her to the vet. She scared us because we didn't know if she ate something or what happened but she kept gagging and just laying around. She eats everything so there was no telling what was going on. The vet gave her anti-nausea medicine and told me to monitor her, so I decided to work from home today. This vet is new and I really like her although I can't say the same for Maddie :) Our old doctor used to come to our house so we have never been in an examining room. Maddie Mae did not like it too much! It didn't last too long though. As soon as we got in the car, she threw up on my purse! YUCK! So we went back into the vet and she examined it and said she may have just eaten something like string or carpet. (don't ask - she eats everything so she could have chewed on a towel or a sock or anything). Now poor Maddie looks drugged up and all she has been doing is sleeping. She has to follow me wherever I go so everytime I get up she follows but she isn't too happy with all the moving around. Here are some pics of the sick baby. I think she likes our new chairs.
