Before & After

The only thing we did not like about our house when we bought it was the backyard. On the left side of the yard is what we call the "pet cemetary." It looks like the previous owners attempted to grow vegetables and things and neglected it. I saw a yard worker out one day working on the neighbor's yard and I was just curious how much he charged. We started talking and he told me how he did not like to cut our grass because of the backyard. Anyway, I told him we wanted to get rid of it and he said he could do it so last Sunday he finally came and removed the pet cemetary. It was raining when he came so he couldn't spread the mud out better.

It looks much better but the whole yard still needs some work. He suggested we install drainage pipes along the fence because the yard retains so much moisture. I had to buy rain boots just to take Maddie out when it is raining or wet. See the before & after pictures above.
