We had a nice Easter this year. The girls woke up to a trail of eggs left by the bunny which led to their baskets. Samantha got a stuffed duck, Flynn, Flounder, some candy, sunglasses, a coloring book and some princess swim toys. Avery got a baby Belle, a stuffed duck, sunglasses, some candy, a coloring book and Minnie and Daisy bath toys. They both got Hop, the movie, to share. Maddie got some bones and a stuffed lion and Brian got some homemade peanut butter eggs, chocolate covered oreos and some other candy.
We had monkey bread for breakfast and waited for Mimi, Pops, Chris and Mal to come over and we headed to lunch at Benedict's Plantation. We had reservations, but it wasn't organized very well. We had to wait a while and then the lines were long. There was an egg hunt for the kids, which they enjoyed. Samantha got an egg with a card in it that said she won a prize, so she got a stuffed bunny that she was able to decorate with markers. Afterwards, we headed back home and the girls got their baskets from Mimi and Pops and we enjoyed some white chocolate strawberry cake for dessert. Samantha got wedding Rapunzel, Lady, a Rapunzel bathing suit and some other goodies. Avery got Lady, Ariel, a Minnie bathing suit and some other goodies.
