On October 24th, Sam's school had a fall tea for the mom's during the day and dad's night that evening. It was so much fun! I loved seeing Sam in the classroom and meeting her friends and their parents. They demonstrated their morning routine and sang for us. Samantha did great. She did all the hand movements and sang and in between songs, she would yell "hi, mommy!" She was so excited! Afterwards, the kids decorated cookies and had cookies and juice. I got a flower corsage and a card. So cute! I dropped Avery off in another classroom for babysitting while I went to Sam's room. It was my 1st time leaving her with a non-family member. They said she cried when she realized I was gone, but then she started playing. When other parents picked up their kids, she started crying again and she was crying when I got to her. Poor baby! Samantha hugged her and told her it was okay and she said "Av, you went to school today too!"

Brian took Sam back to school that night and he said it was more chaotic. I guess the kids knew they could get away with more because school wasn't actually in session and the daddies had them :) The dads got a tie and a cute book. The teachers asked the kids questions about their dads and wrote the answers down. Sam only got one answer right and Brian was sad because it was about work and says he goes to work and stays there a long time. But she knows he works hard so I can stay home with her and Avery and she did say she loves playing with daddy!
