Wooden Boat Festival

Brian and I had a wedding to go to on the 15th, so my parents watched the kids for us and spent the night. Sam went to Church with my parents the next morning and we thought there was a fair, but it was only on Friday and Saturday. So we decided to try out the wooden boat festival. It was HOT!! If I had a pool, I seriously would have come home and gone swimming. Anyway, we took the girls to the kiddie area, but Sam was hot and tired, so she didn't want to to do much. We saw part of the parade and then stood in line to build a boat. My dad, Sam, Avery and I waited in line and my mom and Brian browsed around. After Sam and Avery got a boat, we headed home for naps and to cool off. I think it would have been a lot more fun if the weather were cooler. But the girls enjoyed getting their boats and love playing with them in the tub.
