Last Friday, we went to the Boo at the Zoo for the 1st time. Mimi and Pops came, cousins Evan, Emily, and Aidan were there and several of our friends came too. Sam wanted to be a butterfly (which is really a fairy costume.) I dressed her in it and she had a fit, so she ended up wearing a Halloween shirt and jean skirt. When we got there, I dressed Avery in her Belle costume and Sam said she wanted to be Belle too, she we finally got her to put on her costume. Both girls were adorable. I think Sam had a good time and she will enjoy it even more the older she gets. They had a toddler area where she could play games. She made a bracelet out of fruit loops (actually she ate the fruit loops and didn't make a bracelet :)), she made a macaroni necklace, she caught a duck, she got a tattoo, she dug in the sand and she tossed cereal into an Oscar the Grouch garbage can. We ate dinner by the sea lions and we went to the trick or treat village. We didn't get home until way past her bedtime and she stayed awake the whole drive watching Cinderella. When we went trick or treating, she didn't say anything and just held her bag open. I told her the next day how Halloween is this weekend and we'll go trick or treating in our neighborhood and I asked her what she had to say and this was her response: "Trick or treat. Give me some suckers!!!!"
