Baby No. 2

It's hard to really see the picture but the baby is facing forward and you can see its arm up and legs bent in front.

I have been a little behind on the blog because I haven't been feeling so great and have been so tired! This weekend I feel a lot better and am hoping I am past the exhaustion for a while. I thought I would post an update on Baby Cook No. 2. We went to the doctor Friday and the nurse tried to hear the heartbeat and she couldn't find it. The doctor came in and she couldn't find it either. I was a little worried but I didn't really feel like anything was wrong. So Dr. Waters did another ultrasound just to check and all is well! The baby is just sitting a little low, which is not uncommon, and was moving around a lot. We saw it move its arms and legs and squirm all around. What a difference from a month ago already! I hope this baby isn't too wild and crazy :-) We also saw its heart beating away on the screen. We go back in 4 weeks and our big 20 week ultrasound is scheduled for the end of February. Brian wants to know the sex right now but he'll have to wait a bit longer! He wants a boy but will be happy with a girl or boy. He just wants it to be healthy as do I. I do want a boy but I don't have a sister so I am kind of hoping for another girl and then a boy. If this baby is a girl then she can use all of Sam's old clothes. If it's a boy we need everything new, including pj's and bath towels! I guess we'll find out soon enough!

After our doctor's appointment, we went to Camellia Grill. I can't remember the last time we went there. It was delicious. Brian got an omelette, but the baby wanted a cheeseburger and fries :-)
